Modernist art deco / Bauhaus style stainless steel Tea Set. Designed by Oliver Hemming as part of his “NIO” series. Designed by Hemming in 1982 but not put into production until 1998. Highly polished stainless steel body with exaggerated angular composite grips. Quality hinged lid to the tea / coffee pot. Studio signed beneath as shown. Oliver Hemming is an important contemporary British designer, his work is represented in European museums. This set is no longer in production.
