Lot Details
Vintage Purbeck pottery textured Vase by Eddie Goodall. Carrying his “EG” mark beneath. Finished in various Autumnal tones with a sun god or flower motif. Circa late 1960’s. Purbeck pottery was established in Westbourne, near Bournemouth, Dorset in the mid 1960’s by Robert Jefferson and Eddie Goodall, both formerly of Poole pottery. Jefferson pioneering Poole’s delphis range and Goodall being Poole’s chief thrower during the 1950’s. The studio produced a range of table and decorative studio-style stoneware’s. The company moved a few miles from Westbourne to Poole in Dorset in 1995.
