Matched pair of vintage Scandinavian Dansk Designs Art Glass Candle Holders. Designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard with both holders retaining their studio labels including Quistgaard’s “IHQ” mark. The holders themselves, square in form with protruding upright finials that support the candle above. This set was made in Sweden though Dansk also produced wares in Denmark and later on Japan. Complete with two super rare original Dansk oversized ribbed candles that have not been lit and are almost impossible to source now. Measuring 220mm tall apiece including the candles by 75mm in diameter. Circa 1970.
