Lot Details
Period carn pottery of Cornwall double chimney vase. From the hand of John Beusmans originating from his Nancledra, near St Ives studio. A large impressive example featuring twin square openings to the upper body. Finished in classic Carn copper oxide glazes with raised slip decoration including tulips and stylized fish to the various external faces. Matte finish with a glazed white interior. Signed by Beusmans beneath along with a model code “a60” and the Carn studio back stamp. A large striking example measuring 315mm tall by 65mm square at the base. Excellent vintage order. Circa early 1970’s.
