Large Period German art Print featuring the work of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. Measuring 865mm by 620mm. Ernst Ludwig Kirchner born May 6, 1880 in Aschaffenburg was a German painter and graphic artist and is one of the most important representatives of Expressionism. Kirchner was a founding member of the Brücke artist group. In 1937, the National Socialists branded his works “degenerate” and over 600 of his works were subsequently sold or destroyed. A year later he died from a gunshot wound.
