Lot Details
Framed mid-century print by French Artist Bernard Buffet. From an original 1950 work titled “Pot Belly Stove”. Mounted behind glass with a simple black frame. Measuring 400mm by 345mm. Bernard Buffet was born in Paris and showed early talent, being accepted into the School of Fine Arts at the age of 16. Within a short time he was exhibiting and winning prizes at major Paris salons. His work is characterised by sharp lines and careful balance.
