Lot Details
Mid-century bright yellow Italian pitcher with incised checkerboard design in burnt orange to the lower third. Of good proportions this piece would work equally well as a vase. Signed “Italy” beneath along with a model code “7081” and double initials as shown. Also carrying the “HH”mark for Holt Howard, the mid century New York retailer who imported wares from Italy. 165mm tall by 150mm wide handle to spout. Excellent vintage order with some glaze overrun to the upper rim. Circa mid century Italy.
