Lot Details
Set of four Italian Joe Colombo glass coffee cups and saucers. Classic Colombo design for “Arno” with their square grips and stacking cups. All pieces marked “Italy” Circa 1960. Trained as an industrial designer, Colombo was instrumental to the rise of Italian modernism throughout the 1960s, designing objects, furniture and interiors. Constructed in pressed glass, the geometric characteristics of each cup and saucer create a striking continuity of silhouettes across the range.
