Early 20th century automaton featuring a world war one Biplane chasing a German Zeppelin. Constructed using the base of an early gramophone with mechanism still operating that drive the central shaft. When wound the two flying machines chase each around a sky filled with tin plate clouds. Metal trees to the base along with a field gun and burning church. Three lots of embossed text reading:- “Last raid on Gt. Briton on” “April 12 - 13 - 1918” “Royal Flying Cor WSM” A rare one off piece. Measuring 800mm tall.
